Engineered for applications requiring high flow capacity and low pressure drop, this Simplex Basket Strainer features a large internal filtration basket that holds significantly more debris than Y-strainers. Available in Stainless Steel or Carbon Steel with a flanged connection, it is the ideal choice for protecting industrial pumps, flow meters, and heat exchangers in oil, water, and chemical lines.

Features
A heavy-duty flanged basket strainer with a large-capacity removable basket, designed for extended cleaning intervals and minimal pressure loss in liquid pipelines.
✅Large Filtration Area: The cylindrical basket design offers a filtration surface area up to 6 times larger than the pipe cross-section, allowing for longer operation times between cleanings and reducing maintenance frequency.
✅Low Pressure Drop: Due to its straight-through flow path and large open area, the basket strainer creates minimal resistance to flow, making it perfect for suction inlets of sensitive pumps where cavitation must be avoided.
✅Quick-Open Cover Design: Features a Quick-Opening Top Cover (secured with a davit or swing bolts) that allows operators to access and remove the basket in seconds without special tools, significantly speeding up maintenance.
✅Versatile Material Options: Manufactured in Carbon Steel (WCB) for oil and water service or Stainless Steel (304/316) for corrosive chemical and food-grade applications, ensuring compatibility with your specific media.
✅Top-Removal Basket: The debris is collected inside the lifting basket, which is removed from the top, ensuring that captured solids are easily lifted out without falling back into the pipeline during servicing.
