The DELCO DK62-Z-FB Series features a heavy-duty Double Flanged Butterfly Valve powered by a robust Multi-Turn Electric Actuator (Z-Type) with a worm gearbox. This high-torque configuration ensures stable, non-slam operation for large-diameter pipelines ranging from DN40 to DN1200. Available in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, or WCB bodies, it offers superior mechanical stability and sealing reliability compliant with ANSI/DIN/JIS flange standards.

Engineered for large-scale flow control, combining a stable flanged body with high-power actuation to prevent water hammer:
✅High-Torque Multi-Turn Actuation
The valve is driven by a Z-series multi-turn electric actuator coupled with a worm gearbox. This system multiplies torque output to handle the immense pressure loads of large valves (up to DN1200) while controlling closing speed to prevent damaging water hammer effects.
✅Stable Double Flanged Body (U-Type)
Unlike wafer valves, the double-flanged design bolts directly to pipe flanges on both sides. This provides superior mechanical stability, isolates the valve from pipeline stress, and allows for dead-end service (installing at the end of a line) without downstream flange support.
✅Emergency Manual Handwheel
Reliability is paramount. The actuator assembly includes a side-mounted Manual Handwheel. In case of power failure, operators can manually rotate the handwheel to open or close the valve, ensuring continuous system safety and control.
✅Versatile Sealing Options
To match various media, the valve can be fitted with resilient seats (EPDM/NBR) for zero-leakage water/air service, or hard seals (Metal/PTFE) for higher temperature or abrasive conditions. The concentric or eccentric disc design ensures low operating torque.

The flanges are drilled to match international standards including GB, ANSI 150, DIN PN10/16, and JIS 10K. The robust body materials (Cast Iron, WCB, SS304) make it suitable for HVAC, municipal waterworks, and industrial power plants.
