The DELCO DK-J961Y Series is a specialized High-Pressure Electric Globe Valve engineered for critical power plant applications, such as superheated steam and boiler feedwater. Featuring Butt Weld (BW) ends and a robust body construction, it withstands extreme thermal cycling and pressure (up to Class 2500 / PN320). Powered by a heavy-duty multi-turn electric actuator, this valve ensures precise isolation and zero leakage in harsh steam environments.

Designed for supercritical power generation conditions, combining permanent welding connections with erosion-resistant sealing:
✅Butt Weld Ends for Zero Leakage
Designed for high-temperature/high-pressure (HTHP) piping, the machined Butt Weld (BW) ends allow the valve to be permanently welded into the pipeline. This eliminates the risk of gasket leakage common in flanged connections under thermal expansion and vibration.
✅Stellite Hard-Faced Trim
To resist the severe erosion and cavitation caused by high-velocity steam, the valve disc and seat sealing surfaces are overlay-welded with Stellite (Co-Cr-W alloy). This hardness ensures a tight shutoff even after years of frequent operation.
✅High-Torque Electric Actuation
Equipped with a dedicated Power Station Electric Actuator (Multi-turn). It delivers the massive thrust required to close the valve against high differential pressures. Features include torque protection, limit switches, and a manual handwheel for emergency operation.
✅Optimized Flow Path & Body Material
The valve body is typically forged or cast from high-performance alloy steels (WC6, WC9, F11, F22, or 12Cr1MoV) to maintain structural integrity at temperatures exceeding 540°C. The streamlined flow path reduces pressure loss across the valve.
✅Pressure Seal Bonnet (Optional/Design dependent)
For higher pressure classes (Class 900+), we utilize a Pressure Seal Bonnet (PSB) design. Unlike bolted bonnets, the PSB utilizes internal system pressure to force the gasket against the body, creating a tighter seal as the internal pressure increases.
